Discover user needs
"I want to put together stylish outfits quickly and effortlessly!"
Users' main goal is to consume less time choosing outfits for their work and social occasions. They want a solution that can help them effectively manage their wardrobe, easily match their clothes, and provide them with style suggestions based on their preferences, occasions, and fashion trends. According to our survey about try-on feature preference, 82.5% of people want to see how a piece of clothing looks on the body.

Personalised wardrobe
Creating custom clothing categories based on the user's preferences and needs to create a personal lookbook.

Helping users choose their outfit through AI recommendations.
Ai-driven 3D Avatar showroom
Choosing clothes to try-on via the 3D virtual Avatar to solve the issue that the virtual clothing displayed does not always fit the user's body.

There are 5 main sections :
1. Register and create 3D avatar.

Created wireframes building the visual ideas
From sketches to wireframe, we consisted of several key components from concept designs to visualise whole product features. The changes included preference selection and clothes suggestion page after internal discussion.
Turn image into 3D Avatar
User can user WEARit scanning body to turn personal image into 3D Avatar into our app.

Why not use AR filter?
The limitation of mobile devices, and users’ hand and the device may cover certain parts of their body, making it difficult to see the complete outfit or how it fits on their body.

Merits of 3D Avatar

AI stylist assistant
Through AI algorithm, WEARit provides daily suggestion according to preferences, the weather and the items in users' wardrobe.
A daily dress-up planner
Planning everyday outfits for any occasions uses in-app calendar.
Customise personal wardrobe
Turn clothing items into 3D objects and manage personal wardrobe in order.
Usability Test & In-depth interview
Positive feedback for the new dressing experience
1. Results showed users created outfits within a relatively short time (average of 30 seconds).
2. 83% of the users showed a strong interest in using WEARit, particularly a feature that would allow them to visualise different combinations without trying them on physically.

Some features need to improve.
66% of the participants said that the app was too cumbersome to use and that some of the buttons on the interface were not clearly defined, which could cause users to misuse the app and therefore take up some time.

Reflection & Future plans
Simplifying dressing process and reducing users' confusion
To address the problem of function's complexity, simplifying user flow and providing instructions and guidance will be taken into account in the next iteration.

Improve planning functions
Serving WEARit as a planning and reminder tool, as suggested by users during interviews.

Gain profit!
Considering generate profit in the future, cooperating with different brands and influencers to tailor personal daily dressing plan would be the next iteration.
